Warminster Graphic Design Firm Goes Green
The owners of Astro-Dynamic Print & Graphic Services had an array of 250 solar panels installed on the company's roof in March 2011.

Astro-Dynamic Print & Graphic Services, Inc. led the way for green energy in the graphics industry by installing solar panels in March 2011.
The solar array, consisting of more than 250 solar panels, will generate significant energy savings, while lowering carbon dioxide emissions. In a statement, Astro-Dynamic claimed it is the area’s only solar-powered printing company.
will produce in excess of 75,000 kilowatts of electricity annually, which will replace 75 percent of their electrical consumption and save more than 52 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually, an equivalent of 10 passenger vehicles, more than 6 residences’ electrical usage, and 11 acres of pine forests.

“I’m thrilled to be leading the way in our market for green print and communications," said Darrel Dundore, president of Astro-Dynamic. "This is by far the best 'feel-good' project I have been involved with. Our solar energy production is something our employees, clients and community can feel good about.”
“The development of the solar market in Pennsylvania has, for the first time, made solar a prudent economic and environmental option for mid and large sized commercial entities,” said Michael Perillo, president and CEO of Dynamic Solar, which installed the array. “Astro Dynamic will benefit from converting a variable and rising energy cost with a fixed cost, while the larger community will profit from the environmental benefits of generating electricity from renewable resources.”
