Warminster History Day Set For Oct. 27

The event is set for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Warminster Township Free Library.

WARMINSTER, PA — If you've ever been curious about the history of Warminster, the local historical society has a day planned to answer all of your questions.

Warminster History Day is set for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Warminster Township Free Library. A series of programs are scheduled to take place throughout the day. They include historical Halloween crafts for kids and an oral history project in which attendees can record family stories and memories of growing up in Warminster.

Hosted by the Warminster Historical Society, the free event will also have the following programs taking place throughout the day:

  • Tables set up by local historical societies (WHS, Craven Hall, Johnsville, William Tennent House Association, Cold War Historical Society)
  • Recording stories with Warminster residents to create a documentary
  • History lectures
  • Book display by the Warminster Library
  • Window display featuring objects from local historical societies.

The Warminster Township Free Library is located at 1076 Emma Ln. in Warminster.
