Warminster Man Wanted In Hit-And-Run
Police say he pleaded with the other driver not to call police, saying that he would get in trouble.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police are searching for a Warminster man they say committed a hit-and-run after pleading with another motorist not to call police.
David M. Pierce, 36, was driving with a suspended license over a DUI charge at the time of the crash late last year, according to police in Lower Southampton. They say the wreck happened in the early-morning hours near the intersection of Street Road and Bustleton Pike.
Police say that, at first, Pierce pleaded with the other motorist not to call police, saying that he could get in trouble. When the other driver began calling anyway, Pierce got into his red Dodge Caravan and fled before officers arrived, according to police.

They say his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Pierce is described as a white male, standing 6' tall and weighing about 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has previous residences in Feasterville and Philadelphia, according to police.
