Township officials said all Warminster Township Parks remain closed for the near future until the snow and ice melt.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — With the snow still not melting after a storm from three weeks ago, all of the township's parks won't be opening in the near future.
The Warminster Township Department of Parks and Recreation and township officials announced on Tuesday that the parks and their facilities will be "closed indefinitely."
Officials had closed the parks recently due to frigid temperatures and several snowstorms for about a week. But now the parks will remain closed for "the safety of Warminster residents and visitors.
