Warminster Parks Reopen After A Month From Snow
Warminster officials said residents can now return to township parks after heavy snow accumulations kept them closed for over a month.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's parks are once again open after being closed for over a month due to heavy snow accumulations from numerous winter storms.
Township officials announced that the parks are open to residents and visitors from surrounding communities, but that sports fields and grass areas are still closed until further notice due to "spongy conditions" from snow melt and recent heavy rains.
In late January, officials announced that parks would be closed indefinitely following a stretch of storms that dumped over a dozen inches of snow in the Philadelphia region.
