Warminster Summer Reading Kick-Off Party Is June 20

There will be games, crafts, an inflatable planetarium and more at the event.

WARMINSTER, PA — Summer is right around the corner and, at Warminster Township Free Library, that means summer reading.

A Summer Reading Program Kickoff Block Party is set at the library for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. This year's theme is "A Universe of Stories." There will be games, crafts, an inflatable planetarium and more at the event.

The library, at 1076 Emma Ln. in Warminster, also will be kicking off a series of summer-reading events. A full calendar will be released in early June. Among library events already scheduled are:

The library also is seeking local businesses to help sponsor its Summer Reading prize baskets. They're accepting gift cards, products, coupons and other swag. All donations will be assembled into raffle baskets and sponsors will be recognized in-house and online.
