Warminster Whiz Kids: Girl Scout Troop 21770

Whiz Kids' names and ages: Fourth grade girl scout troop 21770 at Nativity of Our Lord Elementary

Accomplishment: The troop recently created a flower garden and shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary as part of their bridging project, required for moving up to Junior Girl Scouts.  The students, most of whom are in the fourth grade, spent an afternoon creating the garden area and planting flowers.  Students have committed to maintaining the garden by keeping it watered and weed free.  

Key to Awesomeness: Troop members were required to obtain sponsors to fund the purchase of supplies for the flower garden at $5 each in exchange for one good deed.  Each troop member raised a minimum of $20 from these good deed sponsors for the project.
