Warminster Woman Argues With Boyfriend, Then Shoots Him: PD

Warminster Police said a woman got a revolver-style handgun out of her safe and shot her boyfriend as he fled the home on Christmas Eve.

WARMINSTER, PA —It started with an argument and then led to a shooting.

Warminster Township Police have charged Savanna Summer Munoz with aggravated assault after she told them that she had an argument at 4:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve Tuesday, went to a safe to grab a revolver from a safe and then shot him.

Warminster Police responded to 35 Evans St. for the report of a shooting. Doylestown Police said the victim was in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The unidentified victim said they were shot by Munoz at the home where she lived.

Munoz told police that she argued with her boyfriend. She then retrieved a revolver from her safe on the second floor and concealed it in the right front pocket of her jacket she was wearing.

That's when police said she confronted her boyfriend once again on the first floor.

Police said she showed the revolver and the boyfriend fled south on Evans Street. While he ran, Munoz pointed the gun at his back and fired one round at him, striking him in the leg, police said.

Munoz then put the gun back in her safe, police said.

Police recovered the the revolver-style handgun with four live rounds and one spent casing.

Munoz was arraigned before the Honorable District Justice Chris O'Neill and remanded into the custody of Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $200,000 bail
