WARMINSTER, PA — A woman is in jail after police say she stabbed a man twice with a kitchen knife during a fight outside a Warminster business.

At 3:24 p.m. on Thursday, Warminster Township Police were called to the parking lot of a business at West Street Road and Park Avenue. There, they found a man who had suffered two stab wounds to his shoulder and lower back.

He was treated by EMS and taken to Abington Hospital, according to police.

After speaking to several witnesses, police say they identified Jatasya Dorothy Johnson, 18, of Philadelphia, as the suspected stabber. She had remained on the scene and cooperated with police officers, according to a police report.

Investigators determined that Johnson and the man, whom she knew, had an argument in the parking lot that escalated into a physical fight, which is when she stabbed him with "a kitchen type knife," according to police.

The victim was being treated at the hospital on Friday and is expected to survive, police said.
