• Luzerne Foundation matching donations to West Hazleton Fire Company (standardspeaker.com) — West Hazleton residents now have a powerful way to support their fire company, as the Luzerne Foundation will match donations to the West Hazleton Firefighters Fund dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 through 2027. The fund helps cover costly gear, equipment, and operations for the 14 active firefighters who answer about 300 calls a year. Locals can donate by mail or through the Luzerne Foundation’s website.
