2 Samples Test Positive For West Nile Virus In West Chester
Two mosquito samples have tested positive for West Nile Virus in West Chester.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A pair of mosquito samples have tested positive for West Nile Virus in the borough, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection announced last week.
The West Chester positive samples was two of 81 found in recent testing done by the DEP, published on July 28. It was among eight positives found in Chester County. Other municipalities with positive tests included Avondale, Easttown, Thornbury, West Goshen, and West Whiteland.
Eight positives were found in Philadelphia, plus several in Delaware County.

No spraying has yet been scheduled for the borough to control the population.
