2020 SE PA Teen Filmmakers Showcase hits the Movie Tavern Exton!

Lights, camera, action! The Movie Tavern Exton will host the 2020 SE Pennsylvania Teen Filmmakers Showcase August 17th, 2020. The event celebrates local middle and high school teen movie directors, providing them a large-scale public platform to debut their original films on the big screen! First held in 2019, the experience includes arriving in a stretch limousine courtesy of the Kevin Smith Transportation Group, a red carpet entrance with professional photography, filmmaker’s names on the Movie Tavern Exton digital marquee and a Social Question and Answer Panel with industry professionals from the Pennsylvania Film Association and the University of the Arts Film Department among others.
The submission period is February 1st through June 15th, and are welcome from all teenagers in Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties and can be drama, comedy, action, animation or documentary films. New in 2020, filmmakers can submit in the Local Issue category – what issue is affecting the local teen experience and how can we address it?
