"Being the strong and brave boy that he is, Jack survived and has improved over the last 8 weeks. Currently, Jack is minimally conscious and is slowly making progress. This week Jack was transferred to the rehabilitation floor to start the next phase of his recovery. Jack’s parents, John and Nancy, have been at his bedside this entire time in addition to taking care of their twin daughters, Jack’s best friends, Molly and Emma. But as weeks have turned into months of specialized care, this wonderful young family is facing the financial realities of Jack’s prolonged hospitalization – medical bills, potential modifications to their home, and extended time off work without pay."
