The held its monthly work session meeting Monday night. Since nothing earth-shattering happened. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s on the agenda for Tuesday night.
Borough Council will consider an ordinance that would require property owners in the Historic District to use brick in all sidewalk replacements. Currently, the borough code does not specify what material has to be used. This ordinance would change that.
Council will also reconsider an ordinance that would allow permit “Area I” holders to park at street meters on Church Street between Washington and Chestnut Streets without required payment.

Council will also take action on an ordinance that would allow to borough to apply for a grant from the Chester County Community Revitalization Program. The grant would be for $284,006, and the money would go towards East Miner Street Storm Sewer Rehabilitation.
