A NIGHT OF AMERICAN ROOTS MUSIC WITH MASON PORTER

A special addition to Uptown! Entertainment's summer concert series featuring local band Mason Porter, a fixture on the local folk and bluegrass scene.  Mason Porter performs American folk music with authenticity, creativity and passion, with a powerful presentation of both original songs that have grown from American roots music, and classic folk masterpieces.  The evening will also include a conversation with the band that will give the audience some insight into the band and its influences, as wel as the history of American Folk music.  Doors open 6 p.m. with cocktails and small bites available; concert from 6:30-$7:30.  Tickets $10; available on line at uptownwestchester.org, or at door.
