Throughout
the month of July, Advent Lutheran Church will be celebrating the spirit of
Christmas by collecting donations to support the Domestic Violence Center of
Chester County. A celebratory breakfast and worship service will take place on
Sunday, July 20 at 9:00 AM. All members of the community are invited to attend.
The quilter’s club will be auctioning off a beautiful handmade quilt, many
delicious baked goods will be sold, and of course a wonderful breakfast will be
provided. A good will offering is appreciated. Thrivent Lutheran of Chester
County will provide supplemental funds to the money raised. Last year with
matching funds from Thrivent Lutheran, over $4000 was raised and donated to
DVCCC. Don’t let the spirit of Christmas
end in December; continue the celebration as the summer heats up with Advent
Lutheran Church. Advent
is located at 1601 Green Lane in West Chester. Please RSVP to the church
office: office@e-advent.org or
610-436-0807. More information can be found at www.e-advent.org.
