• LLBWS roundup: Brooks Cameron, Alabama walk off Pennsylvania (statenews.net) — West Chester's Mid-Atlantic Little League team was eliminated from the World Series after Alabama rallied for a 6–5 walk-off win in extra innings. Pennsylvania jumped out to a 5–0 lead behind big hits from Cole Warner and Dillon DiGiulio, but Alabama stormed back and advanced in the lower bracket. Other games saw wins by Ohio, Canada, and Japan.
• Pennsylvania State Police reports: copper thefts; $10K lost in scam; $9.5K lost in scam (delcotimes.com) — State police recently handled a string of DUIs, thefts, scams, and drug arrests across nearby Delaware County, including a stop on Wilmington West Chester Pike where a driver was allegedly impaired and carrying drugs.
