Friday, June 26, 2015 at 8pm
For the first time in two years, on Friday, June 26th, 2015, local nonprofits Association for the Colonial Theatre (ACT) and French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust will welcome the Bacon Brothers and their band back to Colonial’s stage.
Since 2007, the two organizations have celebrated conservation and culture with an annual performance by Kevin and Michael Bacon. The show benefits the missions of both the theatre and French & Pickering.

“The work of the two organizations is intertwined,” says Mary Foote, ACT’s executive director. “The revitalization of downtown Phoenixville has brought people back to the region and enhanced the interest in living in and preserving open space on its rural fringe.” The Bacon Brothers have a history at the theatre, where they attended shows and movies as kids during the summer.” ~ Main Line Today, December 2014
Long before Kevin launched his prolific stage and screen career, and before Michael became known as a go-to composer for film and television, they were just two brothers growing up playing music together. Nearly 20 years ago, they made it official by forming The Bacon Brothers.

Since then, the six-piece-band has toured regularly and produced seven CDs as well as a live DVD. The Bacon Brothers have appeared as special musical guests on A Prairie Home Companion, Craig Ferguson, Live with Kelly and Michael, VH1’s Big Morning Buzz, and performed Guilty of the Crime with The Bellamy Brothers at the Grand Ole Opry on September 1, 2009. In July 2013, they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Playing approximately 50 shows per year, the band consistently sells out fan favorite venues like The Birchmere, City Winery, and Rams Head On Stage. Their music has been described as an infectious mix of rock, country, folk, and a little Philly soul that has fans dancing in their seats and singing along at every show.
The Bacon Brothers will perform from 8pm - 10pm at Colonial Theatre, with pre-concert and post-concert receptions for sponsors. The Colonial Theatre is located at 227 Bridge St, PO Box 712, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
Tickets are $50 and up and may be purchased online at www.thecolonialtheatre.com or by calling (610) 917-1228.
