Chester Co. Republicans Announce 2019 Endorsements

Chester County Republicans unanimously endorsed 10 candidates for the 2019 election during a recent meeting.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County Republicans unanimously endorsed 10 candidates for the upcoming 2019 election during a recent meeting, including some old faces and some new.

Candidates required 60 percent of all votes — a total of 196 votes — in order to receive an endorsement.

The following candidates received all 326 possible votes:

  • Chester County Commissioner- Terence Farrell
  • Chester County Commissioner- Michelle Kichline
  • Chester County Court of Common Pleas (Retention)- Judge William Mahon
  • Chester County District Attorney- Tom Hogan
  • Chester County Register of Wills- Terri Clark
  • Chester County Prothonotary- Matt Holliday
  • Chester County Recorder of Deeds- Amber Little-Turner
  • Magisterial District Court 15-2-01- Hans Klotzbach
  • Magisterial District Court 15-2-03- P.J. Redmond
  • Magisterial District Court 15-3-07- Judge Nancy Gill

Other endorsed candidates:

  • Chester County Sheriff - Jim Fitzgerald was chosen to run to replace outgoing Sheriff Bunny Welsh, with 222 votes on the first ballot
  • Chester County Court of Common Pleas Judge - Andrea Cardamone received 222 votes on the third ballot
  • Chester County Court of Common Pleas Judge - Chuck Gaza received 196 votes on the second ballot
