CHESTER COUNTY, PA — One of the richest people in the world is from right here in Chester County.

Mary Alice Dorrance Malone, a resident of Coatesville and the largest shareholder of Campbell's Soup, made the 2019 Forbes list of the world's richest billionaires.

Malone's estimated net worth is $2.8 billion, according to Forbes.

She's one of 10 billionaires from Pennsylvania. The ranking, now in its 33rd annual year, includes 2,153 people who have a combined wealth of $8.7 trillion.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who is worth about $131 billion, topped the list for the second year in a row, followed by software magnate and philanthropist Bill Gates ($96.5 billion) and Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett ($82.5 billion).
