Congressman Joe Kennedy To Speak In Chester County

WEST CHESTER, PA — U.S. Congressman Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts is coming to Chester County later this month.

Kennedy, the grandson of Presidential-candidate Bobby Kennedy and great nephew of President John F. Kennedy, will speak at a Chester County Young Democrats event at West Chester University on May 30.

Here's how organizers describe the event, entitled "Vision of the Future":

"How will our society look in the future? What do we want our leaders to stand for? Many people fear that with Donald Trump’s election and the conservative takeover of the Republican Party, America’s future is bleak. But, we disagree. On the contrary: the future is bright, so long as we stand up for progress and the belief in liberty and justice for all."

Tickets are on sale for $100 for the general public. It will take place at Sykes Student Union from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Learn more and buy tickets here.
