Crews Will Resurface 17 Miles Of State Highway In Chester County
Beginning this week, PennDOT crews will repair and resurface 17 miles of state highway across Chester County.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Beginning this week, PennDOT crews will repair and resurface 17 miles of state highway across Chester County.
The $3.5 million project will begin on Thursday, and should be completed by December, according to officials.
“We continue to make great progress in updating and significantly improving our roads and highways throughout Chester County to provide a smoother, safer ride for residents, commuters, and families,” State Sen. Andy Dinniman said in a statement. “This latest round of investments is a continuation of that ongoing effort.”

The following roads will undergo repairs:
- Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between the Berks County line and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in Elverson Borough, and West Nantmeal, East Nantmeal and West Vincent townships
- Route 29 (Main Street/Manavon Street/Starr Street/Bridge Street) between Pothouse Road and the Montgomery County line in Schuylkill Township and Phoenixville Borough
- Route 345 (Pine Swamp Road) between Warwick Road and the Berks County line in Warwick Township
- Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) from south of Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue) to north of Cornerstone Boulevard in Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township.
Dorlan Mill Road from Route 282 (Creek Road) to just north of Longfields Way in East Brandywine and Upper Uwchlan townships.
