Critical Chance Of Fire Forecast For Chester County Tuesday

The Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded to a Warning, according to the National Weather Service.

Conditions are ripe on Tuesday around the region for fire, according to the National Weather Service.

The Fire Weather Watch issued on Monday has been upgraded to a Warning for Chester County.

The watch goes into effect at noon on Tuesday and will last until 8 p.m.

"A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels," the National Weather Service announced. "Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain."

The warning will be in effect when the critical fire weather conditions will be at its highest (from midday through sunset).

Tuesday's forecast weather includes northerly winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, humidity as low as 25 percent, and temperatures in the upper 60s.

Along with Chester County, the warning is also in affect for much of southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and the eastern shore of Maryland.
