Friends Describe Suspected Road Rage Shooter As 'Cool, Calm Guy,' Report Says
The suspect in a fatal road rage shooting was "not on edge" and didn't have a "snap personality," friends said, according to a report.

WEST GOSHEN, PA — Friends and coworkers of the man who authorities say fatally shot a woman during a road rage incident last week are shocked by the incident, calling it "very uncharacteristic” of him, according to reports.
Friend Karl Pritz of Bensalem told Philly.com that David Desper, 28, who is charged with murder for the death of Bianca Nikol Roberson, was a "cool, calm guy." He was "not on edge" and didn't have a "snap personality," according to the report.
Coworker Greg Parker told the publication that Desper was not a hothead and the Wednesday shooting was "very uncharacteristic" of him.

Roberson, 18, was killed in the area of Route 100 just north of Route 202 at approximately 5:30 p.m., police said. Officers initially believed it was serious car crash that killed Roberson, but further investigation revealed that she suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
His arrest followed a three-state manhunt during which police in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware searched for the suspect. Desper turned himself into authorities early Sunday.

He faces a first-degree murder charge and there is no bail. Authorities also recovered the red pickup truck, a Chevy Silverado, they say Desper was in when the shooting happened. The truck was recovered in Delaware County and towed back to the West Goshen police department.
Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan called the shooting a "savage, senseless, brutal" act. Asked whether the shooting was possibly motivated by race, Hogan said officials had no indication that it was a hate crime.
Hogan said the firearm used in the shooting was legally owned.
