The Immaculata Symphony Partners with the Chester County Youth Orchestra to Present “Symphonic Colors”
Classic and popular works come to life through a collaboration between the Immaculata Symphony and the Chester County Youth Orchestra.
On Sunday, Feb. 22 from 3 to 5 p.m., the Immaculata Symphony will join forces with the Chester County Youth Orchestra to perform classic works based on color. This family-friendly performance will take place at Immaculata University’s Alumnae Hall Theater.
A special highlight of the event will give children and their families the opportunity to meet the musicians and learn more about the instruments.
“This concert is a wonderful opportunity to bring together musicians of different generations while inviting audiences to experience classic and popular works through the lens of colors in a fun and engaging way,” said Joseph Gehring, chair of Immaculata University’s Music Department and music director of the Immaculata Symphony. “We hope to spark curiosity and make the concert experience accessible and enjoyable for listeners of all ages.”
