Local ADHD Conference - open to all

Chester County/Main Line CHADD is hosting their 16th local ADHD conference at Neumann University in Aston, PA, Saturday February 10.

If you are interested in learning more about how to cope with ADHD; if you are the spouse, parent, caretaker, medical professional, educator, coach, or the one diagnosed with ADHD and you want to meet others in a similar situation, this conference provides a great opportunity to make connections and get good answers.

In addition to presentations by nationally renowned ADHD experts, about 25 exhibitors and conference sponsors—local service providers and non-profits, support groups, therapists, schools, summer camps and more—will be present to answer questions and share information. Attendees will also have a chance to network with others affected by ADHD.

Kelly Cavanagh, RN, and Sheila Grant, RN, MS, long-time co-coordinators of Chester County/Main Line CHADD, comment on how challenging it is to navigate the seas of information (and misinformation), and the importance of finding support: “There is a great deal of information out there on ADHD, but not all of it is accurate. CHADD disseminates reliable interventions and strategies to combat the struggles which are inherent to ADHD, regardless of the age of the diagnosed individual", says Kelly Cavanagh.

Sheila Grant adds: “CC/ML CHADD is all about creating community, so you don't have to go at it alone. At the conference, we will provide opportunities to meet kindred spirits and make new connections, so it is my wish that at the end of the day attendees will feel empowered to move forward with their lives with increased knowledge and hope.”

Cost is $40 per person or $60 per couple. The 2016 conference attracted over 300 attendees from PA, NJ, and DE, and we expect at least as many this time. Get additional information and tickets here: www.CCMLCHADD2018.eventbrite.c...
