• WCU Celebrates a Century of Jazz With Three Days of Music (mychesco.com) — West Chester residents can enjoy a three-day jazz centennial at West Chester University Nov. 6–8, featuring free concerts, a public masterclass, and a ticketed dance soirée on campus. Events at Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Autograph Library, and the Science and Engineering Center highlight 100 years of the Criterions Jazz Ensemble while supporting a new jazz-program endowment.
   

• Baltimore middle school teacher accused of sexually assaulting boy in Chester County (audacy.com) — Authorities in West Chester have charged a Baltimore middle school teacher with repeatedly traveling to Chester County over two years to sexually assault a boy he met on a social media app. Prosecutors describe alleged trafficking-like behavior, including payments, gifts, and recorded encounters, and say the man is being held in Chester County Prison on $5 million bail while investigators look for any additional victims.
   

• Watson, defense spur Coatesville to win over West Chester East (centredaily.com) — West Chester East's football team fell 45-21 to Coatesville after surrendering a big second-half surge, despite strong passing numbers from quarterback Logan Cummings and receiver Chase Golden. The Vikings, now 3-2, will try to rebound when they host Sun Valley next, while Coatesville rides momentum into a rivalry matchup with Downingtown West.
