Local officials describe how voter-approved taxes, trail projects connecting to West Chester, and stormwater upgrades are shaping development, infrastructure costs, and future housing options for nearby residents.
   

4. YMCA of Greater Brandywine offers free memberships to Chester County seventh graders (dailylocal.com) — Chester County seventh graders, including those in West Chester, can now get a free YMCA membership for their entire seventh-grade year and the following summer through the YMCA of Greater Brandywine's 7th Grade Initiative. New this fall, a free weekly Leaders Club at the Oscar Lasko and West Chester Area YMCAs will help local teens build leadership skills, friendships, and community service experience.
