Sheller brings decades as Parkesburg's police chief and extensive county-level experience to the role. Local residents can expect continuity in ongoing prison operations and reform efforts under his direction. 
• Pa. team to see first Little League World Series action on Friday. Here are the details (pennlive.com) — West Chester's Little League team finally hits the World Series stage tonight, facing Bayonne, New Jersey at 7 p.m. at Lamade Stadium after rain forced a major schedule shuffle. The Pennsylvania squad, fresh off its Mid-Atlantic title, will be the last of eight games played Friday as all 20 teams complete their first tournament action.
