Philly Sports Holdings Announces New CFO/COO
Exton Sports Memorabilia & Marketing Company Hires William Hunt Jr. as CFO/COO

EXTON, PA – August 25, 2014 – Philly Sports Holdings, LLC, an Exton-based, privately-owned holding company that operates Sports Vault and Strategic Sports Marketing, announced today the appointment of William W. Hunt Jr. as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Hunt brings more than 30 years of experience in executive, operational and financial leadership roles to his new position.
Mr. Hunt’s hiring follows the announcement earlier this month that Peter A. Luukko joined Philly Sports Holdings as Chairman of the Board. His appointment marks the growing management team and investor group behind the company which specializes in distributing autographed sports memorabilia and organizing exclusive events for sports fans to meet professional athletes.

In his new position, Mr. Hunt will handle the strategic financial management of the company, which includes driving a capital raise that will be instrumental in Philly Sports Holdings’ near-term growth strategy. The capital raise will facilitate the company’s planned expansion of its technology division in the coming months, including the launch of “Sports Vault Access”, a platform providing sports fans with one-of-a-kind access to professional athletes through events and meet-and-greet opportunities.

Mr. Hunt holds more than three decades of experience in financial and operational leadership positions at a wide range of company types from private to public, small cap to Fortune 500. He currently serves as an active member on the Board of Directors of Penn Treaty American Corporation and also provides executive consultant services to the Board. Prior, Mr. Hunt served as CEO of Penn Treaty before which he held the positions of President and COO and Senior Vice President of Finance. Previously, he was CFO of Prudential Financial’s Individual Life Insurance Unit. He has also held various senior strategic planning and financial roles with companies including Provident Mutual, Advanta Corporation and Covenant Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Hunt began his career as an auditor with Touche Ross & Co. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from St. Joseph’s University and his MBA from Widener University.
