Police Log: West Chester Police Arrests March 6-12

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester police arrested suspects on charges of domestic abuse, stalking, and breaking a police security camera in a holding cell.

• Shukria Hasan, 35, of West Chester was arrested Monday, March 6, on charges of assaulting an unidentified victim in a residence in the 6000 block of East Minor Street. She is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail after being arraigned on aggravated assault and related charges.
• Jessy E. Saavedra, 22, of West Chester is free on $2,500 bail on charges of simple assault and harassment. Police said they responded to a domestic incident on Saturday, March 11 in the 300 block of East Marshall Street.
• Tamera Danai Short, 26, of Coatesville is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail after being arraigned Sunday on harassing and stalking and related stemming from an incident on Feb. 15. Police said the Short made numerous fictitious calls to a residence in the 400 block of East Minor Street.
• Kenneth Devon Nicholson, 26 of Kennett Square is free on $5,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of public drunkenness and institutional vandalism in connection with tampering and breaking a security camera while he was in a holding cell on March 12.
