Route 202 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Route 100 interchanges in West Goshen Township, Chester County from 7 p.m. Friday (June 24) to 7 p.m. Saturday (June 25) for concrete pavement replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today. The construction schedule is dependent on the weather.

In addition, the northbound Route 202 off-ramp to Paoli Pike will be closed and detoured from 7 p.m. Friday (June 24) to 5 p.m. Saturday (June 25). The posted detour will take northbound Route 202 motorists to the Boot Road exit, where they will turn left on Boot Road and left at the ramp to Route 202 South and then follow Route 202 South to the Paoli Pike exit.

The Paoli Pike ramp to Route 202 South also will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday (June 24) to 5 p.m. Sunday (June 26) for construction. Motorists will be detoured north on Route 202 to the Boot Road exit, where they will turn left on Boot Road and left at the ramp to Route 202 South.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel on this stretch of Route 202 during construction or use an alternate route because traffic slowdowns will occur.
