Sneak Peak of Giant on Boot Road

On July 22, the Genuardi's located on Boot Road in East Goshen will reopen as a grocery store after the chain purchased several Genuardi's throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.

What separates this Giant from a few of the other local Giant stores is that there appears to be a conscious effort to make the store more like Wegman's.

The new Giant on Boot Road has a whole wing of the store devoted to food that can either be purchased from a buffet-style food bar or a service counter that will make it for you.

The Giant even has a Cafe area where patrons can eat the food they just purchased.

Besides the traditional deli and bakery counters, the new Giant also has a Starbucks as well as sushi and pizza counters. 

That wing of the store also has a case that features Di Bruno Brothers gourmet products like meats and cheeses. 

Besides the Wegman's elements, the store also features a PNC Bank location as well as a full-service pharmacy. 

Again, the new Giant has its grand opening on July 22.
