West Chester dropped a pair of games Wednesday at the NTC Spring Games in Florida, falling to Saint Leo 8-3 before losing to Pfeiffer, 6-4, in a split doubleheader.
Saint Leo scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to break open a 4-3 ballgame and increase its lead. J.P. Norris was 2-for-3 in the game to lead West Chester’s effort at the plate. Devon Utterback (4-4) suffered the loss inside the circle.
West Chester finishes up its stay in the Sunshine State on Thursday with games against St. Michael’s and Alderson-Broaddus.
