Sunrise Senior Living of Exton Makes Food Donations

The Sunrise Senior Living of Exton community recently participated in 93.3 WMMR's Preston and Steve Campout for Hunger 2019 event. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to accept food donations which end up going to Philabundance, the area’s largest hunger-relief organization. This was our first year participating and our goal was to gather 500 pounds of food! With the generosity of our residents, families and teammates, were able to gain 572 pounds of food donations! Along with six of our residents, we traveled to Xfinity Live in the Philadelphia stadium complex(where the campout was taking place), donated the food, and had a great lunch. We can't wait to see how much we can gather and donate in 2020. Have a happy holiday season!
