Thousands Raised For Family Of Chesco Cop Who Passed Away
Services have been set for Sgt. Christopher Sambuco, who died suddenly last week.

CALN TOWNSHIP, PA -- Tens of thousands of dollars have been raised for the family of a Chester County police officer who died suddenly at his home last week.
The GoFundMe effort has raised $123,000 as of Thursday morning, with donations from more than 800 people in just five days.
Sambuco was at his home when he passed away on April 12. He leaves behind a wife and four children. A cause of death was not made public.

"It is with deep regret and unspeakable sadness that I announce the passing of one of our own," Caln Chief of Police Joseph G. Elias said. "Please keep his family and the Caln Township Police Department family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our brother."
Sabmbuco received a Letter of Commendation for his excellent work on the force in Feb. 2016. He was also honored by the Chester County Police Chiefs Association in 2008.

Christopher J. "Buc" Sambuco, age 42, passed suddenly on April 12, 2018 of West Chester, PA.
Survived by his beloved wife of 18 yrs. Kristine M. (nee Kuchler), his loving children Ryan C., Allison K., Erin M., and Mason J. his parents Christopher P. Sambuco and the late Karen A. (nee Weithoner) and his brothers Phillip P. (Meredith) and Thomas A. Sambuco.
Relatives & Friends are invited to his viewing Thursday Evening 6-9 PM and Friday morning 9:30-10:30 AM at S. S. Simon & Jude Church 8 Cavanaugh Court (Rt 3 & 352) West Chester, PA 19382 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
