Tree Planting in Londonderry Township

volunteers needed to help plant trees for the Brandywine Conservancy's Reforestation Campaign

Tree Planting

Saturday, May 2, 9 a.m.

Help us to plant 900 trees in Londonderry Township for the Conservancy’s Reforestation Campaign. No experience is necessary. Volunteers should dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes, and bring gloves and a shovel if possible. The Brandywine/Christina Basin provides 100 million gallons per day of drinking water to over 500,000 people in three states. Reforesting the watershed ensures and improves water quality. The Conservancy is nearly 70% through its “50 by 50” campaign to plant 50,000 trees by its 50th anniversary in 2017. Please contact Meredith Mayer at 610.388.8351 for further information. i
