U.S. 202 North to be Restricted for Bridge Inspection

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspection because slowdowns will occur.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the right lane will be closed on northbound U.S. 202 between Boot Road and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, on Monday (Dec. 1) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a bridge inspection.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspection because slowdowns will occur.

The inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect state bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and condition of the bridges.
