Volunteers Needed to help Plant Trees

Help us to plant 300 trees and shrubs for the Conservancy’s Reforestation Campaign. The planting will take place at 930 Buck Run Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. No experience is necessary. Volunteers should dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes, and bring gloves and a shovel if possible. The Brandywine/Christina Basin provides 100 million gallons per day of drinking water to over 500,000 people in three states. Reforesting the watershed ensures and improves water quality. The Conservancy is nearly 70% through its “50 by 50” campaign to plant 50,000 trees by its 50th anniversary in 2017. To sign up, please contact Meredith Mayer at 610.388.8351 for further information.
