Sheriff Bunny Welsh Headlines, "Empowering Women for Leadership Roles" on May 12th at WBC luncheon, Downingtown Country Club, WBCchesco.com

Wings for Success is the WBC’s Community Outreach Partner, and we’re celebrating that partnership! Wings for Success empowers women in need to pursue employment and economic security through apparel, advice, and advocacy. During our May luncheon, we will be honoring Wings for Success, and their volunteer of the year, Connie Rose.

Sherriff Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh will be the guest speaker for the luncheon. Sherriff Welsh is the first woman to be elected Sherriff in Chester County, and the topic for her talk will be “Empowering Women for Leadership Rolls.”

The Tuesday, May 12 event will be held Downingtown Country Club, 93 Country Club Dr. in Downingtown. Doors open at 11:15 a.m.; the luncheon and program begin at noon. Pre-registration and pre-payment online is required by 9 a.m. Monday, May 10: $25 for members, $30 for non-members. The walk-in rate the day of the event is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
