West Chester Gets $208K Grant To Improve Sewer Pipes

The grant will allow for significant improvements to the borough's sanitary sewer pipe system.

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester will receive a grant to rehabilitate its sanitary sewer pipe system, local officials announced Tuesday.

The funding totals $208,500, State Sen. Andy Dinniman (D-Chester) said.

“Access to clean water and safe water treatment systems is vital to the health and quality of life in our communities. These funds will help local municipalities provide necessary water and sewer infrastructure upgrades,” Dinniman said in a statement. “The improvements mean more efficient, more reliable, and more secure water systems for local residents and families.”
