WEST CHESTER, PA -- A student at West Chester East High School has done something very rare.
He earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT exam, the West Chester Area School District said on Wednesday.
The student, Sam, plans to study math and science in college and participate in the marching band.

In 2016, according to the district, only 2,235 students out of around 2.1 million earned a perfect score.
