West Chester Schools Announce Delayed Opening Thursday

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Area School District will have a delayed opening Thursday as the region recovers from the storm, school officials announced.

The high school and offices will open two hours late.

Elementary and middle school students had been scheduled for a half day, so they will have no school.

Staff for elementary and middle schools should report two hours late.

A Child's Place parents can sign up for the "Day Off Program" opening at 9 a.m. at Glen Acres Elementary, the district said.

Wednesday, June 13 is the final scheduled day of school this year for West Chester.
