West Goshen Skate Park Set to Reopen

The park is scheduled to reopen on May 9.

The skate park at Robert Lambert Park in West Goshen is scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 9.  Township authorities had originally closed down the park in March due to staffing issues.

Under the new guidelines established by the township, the park will be an unstaffed facility upon reopening.

Because it will be unstaffed, admission fees and registration is no longer required to use the skate park.

However, the township wants skaters to know that they use the park at their own risk.  The township also wants to stress that this new policy is only in its trial phase, and it will be changed if necessary.

Authorities also say that if the policies of the skate park are violated, then they may be forced to close the park permanently.
