(mcall.com) — Drivers from Whitehall should know PennDOT plans to add a third lane in each direction on Route 22 between Airport Road and the Seventh Street/MacArthur Road interchange, tying into the already six-lane stretch through Whitehall. The $28 million project, slated to start around 2028–29, aims to ease congestion and reduce crashes at one of Pennsylvania’s most stressful exits.
