• Man arrested for assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and stealing a bottle of liquor from the Fine Wine & Good Spirits in Wyncote (glensidelocal.com) — Police say a man was arrested after allegedly stealing a bottle of liquor from the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store on Ogontz Avenue in Wyncote and then struggling with a Cheltenham officer in the roadway. The 28-year-old Philadelphia resident faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and retail theft. Everyone involved is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
