• Chromebook controversy: Lower Merion parents ask to opt children out of using devices 24/7 (whyy.org) — A Wynnewood parent is joining others in Lower Merion in questioning how much time students must spend on school-issued Chromebooks and the lack of content filters on the devices. District leaders say electronic devices are now central to the curriculum, so full opt-outs aren’t possible, but they’re promising to reduce screen time in class and help families tighten controls at home.
