• Berks County municipalities awarded $2.28 million for traffic signal upgrades (berksweekly.com) — Drivers near Wyomissing will see changes as Spring Township uses over $1 million in state funds to modernize signals along key roads including West Wyomissing Boulevard and State Hill Road. Several other Berks municipalities, including Reading and Exeter, also received Green Light-Go grants aimed at easing congestion and improving safety at busy intersections. 
• Helping Harvest distributes record 12.5 million pounds of food in FY2026 (berksweekly.com) — Wyomissing students are among those benefiting as Helping Harvest’s school pantry program expands, with the food bank distributing a record 12.5 million pounds of food this fiscal year. The nonprofit now runs pantries at Wyomissing and several other Berks County schools, plus sites in Schuylkill County, while also growing its Weekender backpack program and Community Kitchen meal service.
