13 ShopRite Thefts, Fake US Immigration Call: Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents fir the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A big drug bust and a shoplifter responsible for 13 crimes at the ShopRite top the blotter released by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department of criminal incidents for the past week.

RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s, reported at Noon. Loss Prevention reported on Nov. 20 that three unknown suspects entered the store and removed $600 worth of fragrances without paying. An investigation is ongoing.
FRAUD —600 block of Leslie Lane, reported at 11:42 a.m. The complainant reported receiving
a call from someone claiming to be from US Immigration and also the Yardley Borough
Police Department. They attempted to get them to give out their personal information.

FRAUD:
- 800 block of Winthrop Drive, reported at 11 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) changed their address on their health care account.
- 500 block of Wren Song Road, reported at 7:04 p.m. The complainant reported an ex-girlfriend withdrew $305.30 from their CashApp account.
RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at ShopRite, reported at 4 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown man committed 13 retail thefts between 8/20 – 11/18.

DRUG ARREST —1600 block of Big Oak Road, at Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, reported at 1:38 p.m. Police responded to the report of an unconscious male in a work van in the parking lot. Police woke the man and he was found to have a glass pipe of five baggies containing what was believed to be Fentanyl on his lap. The 36-year-old Chalfont man was taken into police custody. He will be summonsed for possession of Fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
THEFT —900 block of Randolph Drive, reported at 6:01 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) stole a package containing an iPhone from their front porch.
Nov. 18
FRAUD —2800 block of Brookhaven Drive, reported at 2:47 p.m. The complainant reported
their account was compromised and about $50,000 was withdrawn over multiple transactions.
THEFT —200 block of Aspen Road, reported at 4:30 p.m. The complainant reported unknown
person(s) stole a package containing an iPhone from their front porch.
Nov. 15
IDENTITY THEFT —5000 block of Spruce Mill Drive, reported at 4:16 p.m. The complainant
reported providing personal information through WhatsApp for a job posting before realizing it was a scam.
