2 Attempted Burglaries Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week, which included two attempted burglaries.
These are the criminal incidents:
March 21

IDENTITY THEFT —600 block of Grindan Drive, reported at 8:52 a.m. The complainant reported a possible identity theft and real estate fraud in South Carolina.
March 17

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:
- 1200 block of Yardley Rd. reported at 7:50 a.m. The complainant reported at 5:01 a.m. that a man was seen on their surveillance camera attempting to gain entry into the home through the front door. The investigation is ongoing.
- 900 block of Greenway Avenue, reported at 11:15 a.m. The complainant reported at 2:57 a.m. that a man was seen on their surveillance camera attempting to gain entry into the home through the back door.
LOITERING & PROWLING —1000 block of Buckingham Way, reported at 1:40 p.m. The complainant reported a man walked through their front yard into their driveway sometime overnight. The investigation is ongoing.
March 15
THEFT —300 block of Fieldstone Court, reported at 3 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of their wallet, possibly while in Shop Rite. They also reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $2,102.39.
